Amin founded Surface after 8 years across UI/UX, graphic design, animation, and identity work, building products and brands for clients who care about the details. He leads every project from first sketch to final delivery, treating each one like the one that matters most. He's the reason the studio's craft is consistent, hands-on, and impossible to outsource.

MARKETING & OPERATIONS

Ala has spent 10+ years marketing and managing start-ups, more than 30 of them, helping young companies find their voice, their audience, and their footing. At Surface, she leads marketing and operations, bringing the same instinct to a creative studio: clear positioning, sharp outreach, and an engine behind every project that keeps things moving.

AI & ENGINEERING

Nicholas builds the things most creative studios outsource. With 15 years of full-stack development across biotech and start-ups, and deep experience in AI both theoretically and practically, he leads Surface's engineering and intelligent systems work, designing bespoke applications, writing the code behind them, and giving the studio a technical edge that's rare at our size.

AUDIO & SOUND DESIGN

Isidoro brings something most creative studios don't have: a fully in-house audio practice, run by a Berklee-trained sound designer. With years of experience in SFX, sound engineering, and post-production across film, advertising, and digital, he leads Surface's audio work, composing, mixing, and engineering every sonic detail in the projects we ship.

DEVELOPMENT & AUDIO

Ziad sits between disciplines. A full-stack developer with 5 years behind him, an independent musician with over 100k Spotify listeners, and a graphic designer when the work calls for it, he's the kind of person every modern studio wishes they could hire and most can't. At Surface, he handles development and audio mixing, and the studio is sharper for it.
