Surface is a young studio with two sides. The creative studio designs brands people feel before they understand. The engineering practice builds the machinery behind them: systems, software, hardware. Most things worth making need both, which is why we kept them under one roof.
We are early, and that is part of the point. We are for the founders, brands and teams who would rather take a chance on a sharp young team than on another safe pick. One team, end to end, every time.

Front end to back end. Turns the studio's designs into production code and builds the services behind the Labs' systems.

Ten years in project management, operational strategy, start-ups and marketing. Runs delivery across the studio's engagements.

Mark Logan
Growth advisor
Joined Skyscanner in 2012 to lead general management as COO, through to its £1.5 billion acquisition in 2016. Advises the studio on growth, scaling and building a business that works across borders.
Malin Ödhammar
AI and operations advisor
Works as an AI project manager at Asker, helping the business put AI to work in daily operations. Advises the studio on practical, operational AI implementation for clients.
Anders Osbeck
Operations and growth advisor
Twenty years at PwC, then owner and partner at Rent Group, the European rental and circular-use group with locations in 11 countries. Advises on scaling operations and growing a business with many moving parts.

We plan to certify to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, with ISO 13485 to follow for the Labs' medical device work, so we can take on regulated projects with larger organisations. And we are measuring the whole company against the B Corp standard, with the aim of certifying. Where we stand →

No office, by choice. We work from wherever the project is: the restaurant, the warehouse, the site. Clients across Sweden and the United Kingdom.
